Spring Open House for Admitted Students

Saturday, April 8, 2017

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Have you ever wished that you did not have to choose between majoring in engineering or business?  As an MEM major, you don’t have to choose: you can do both! The MEM program is looking for students like you. We invite you to explore your options by attending an Open House at UConn Storrs campus.

The University of Connecticut holds one Open House event in the Spring for admitted students to come to campus and discover what UConn is all about. The Spring Open House is on Saturday, April 8, 2017.

To register for the Open House please visit: http://admissions.uconn.edu/open-house

The University’s Open House festivities start at Gampel pavilion at 9:00 a.m. and activities run campus-wide through the day until 3:00 p.m. After the University’s presentation at Gampel pavilion, you will want to attend the School of Engineering’s (SoE) program in Jorgensen. At the SoE event, the MEM program will have an information booth staffed by current students and faculty. The MEM program will also offer lab tours, including 3D printer demonstrations, and an MEM program overview presentation.

To secure your spot for the MEM Program tour, please visit- https://www.engr.uconn.edu/openhouse/

During the Open House event, you can also visit the School of Business to learn more about MEM.

Throughout your day at UConn you will meet extraordinary people: faculty, staff and students, who are eager to help you become part of the MEM program so you can meet your educational and future career goals.

The University of Connecticut also holds Open Houses on two Saturdays in the fall for prospective students. The University will announce this date on the Admissions website later this fall.
