Dr. Dani’s primary research interests are in estimation and control theory for nonlinear systems with applications to various problems in robotics, which will bring societal impact. Broad research interests are: stochastic estimation and control algorithm design, robust estimator design for uncertain nonlinear systems, planning and navigation for autonomous systems, human-robot interaction, vision-based estimation and control of robotic systems. Dr. Dani has been an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Connecticut since August 2013.
