Paying It Forward & Community Involvement

In October of 2014, MEM students helped organize and proudly served at the 2014 Inaugural MEM Community Service Day as part of a team. Our team cleaned and renovated The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut, a non-profit facility whose mission is “creating fun and friendship for seriously ill children and their families.”

In April 2015, we served at CLiCK, Inc. (Commercially Licensed Cooperative Kitchen). CLiCK is a non-profit organization located in Willimantic that serves the needs of the local community through sustainable and healthy food systems.  We saw this as an opportunity to help our Connecticut neighbors by helping prepare the community gardens.
